SHORT STORY BIG MESSAGE

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: 'I am blind, please help.' There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, 'Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?'

The man said, 'I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way.'
What he had written was: 'Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it.'

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?

Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

Moral of the Story: Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively.

Invite others towards good with wisdom. Live life with no excuse and love with no regrets. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.

Great men say, 'Life has to be an incessant process of repair and reconstruction, of discarding evil and developing goodness…. In the journey of life, if you want to travel without fear, you must have the ticket of a good conscience.'

The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling…
And even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason behind it!!

TO MY CHILD

To My Child
Just for this morning, I am going to smile when I see your face and laugh when I feel like crying.
Just for this morning, I will let you choose what you want to wear, and smile and say how perfect it is.
Just for this morning, I am going to step over the laundry, and pick you up and take you to the park to play.
Just for this morning, I will leave the dishes in the sink, and let you teach me how to put that puzzle of yours together.
Just for this afternoon, I will unplug the telephone and keep the computer off, and sit with you in the backyard and blow bubbles..
Just for this afternoon, I will not yell once, not even a tiny grumble when you scream and whine for the ice cream truck, and I will buy you one if he comes by.
Just for this afternoon, I won't worry about what you are going to be when you grow up, or second guess every decision I have made where you are concerned.
Just for this afternoon, I will let you help me bake cookies, and I won't stand over you trying to fix them.
Just for this afternoon, I will take us to McDonald's and buy us both a Happy Meal so you can have both toys..
Just for this evening, I will hold you in my arms and tell you a story about how you were born and how much I love you.
Just for this evening, I will let you splash in the tub and not get angry.
Just for this evening, I will let you stay up late while we sit on the porch and count all the stars.
Just for this evening, I will snuggle beside you for hours, and miss my favourite TV shows.
Just for this evening when I run my finger through your hair as you pray, I will simply be grateful that God has given me the greatest gift ever given.
I will think about the mothers and fathers who are searching for their missing children, the mothers and fathers who are visiting their children's graves instead of their bedrooms, and mothers and fathers who are in hospital rooms watching their children suffer senselessly, and screaming inside that they can't handle it anymore.
And when I kiss you goodnight I will hold you a little tighter, a little longer. It is then, that I will thank God for you, and ask him for nothing, except one more day...

HOMEM OU ANIMAL

Quem e quem? A lei do mais forte e nos sempre aplicada. nesta selva sangrenta quem e quem? Se nesta luta pela sobrevivencia em que respiramos juntos a solta contra a ternura de poemas de espadas, de ousadias e aventuras de coragem e alegrias, amarguras e desgostos. Fala-me de amor, de odio e das cacadas como predador. sinto as pernas a tremer so com o desejo de viver. Isto e um jogo, como te vou contar, eu por ti e tu por mim, vem comigo e adivinha o quanto eu gosto de ti. Sao tantas as ratoeiras, quantas vezes eu parei a tua porta, e tu nei reparas-te. Quantas vezes perseguiste alguem? quantos de nos prega-mos ratoeiras aos outros e nos proprios? Sai do meu sangue uma espada de raiva. um dia o corpo hade acender uma fogueira de raiva e de furia, so para revelar o amor e o odio. Olha para o que nos fizemos! Tantas cores, tantas formas de ver a cor da vida, quanto mais vivemos encruzilhados nesta forma de viver, mais nos nos encontramos e desencontramos com a nossa realidade. Uma vez ouvi dizer que esta vida e um circo de feras, nem mais nem menos quando se trata da nossa propria sobrevivencia nos mostramos o nosso lado animal. Nao e por acaso que o Homem e o unico animal que e capaz de matar o da sua especie. Vai por ai um vazio na alma de muita gente e alguem que julga que para si em particular o arco iris tem que ser de uma cor so. Uma cancao gritada aos berros ecoa na nossa mente e por muito que tentemos perceber a letra so se consegue ouvir os gritos. Os dias sao ausentes. Sabem a nada, se nao os souberes viver. De tudo o que fica sao os perdidos e achados. Vamos la pintar o arco iris de novo e dar-lhe um pouco mais de brilho, vamos la tirar a fera que esta dentro de nos e usa-la do melhor modo possivel. Vamos mostrar o nosso lado humano no nosso jeito de ser! Porque nos nao estamos aqui sozinhos! Nos tambem ca estamos!...

PELOS CORNOS

Nos so conseguimos triunfar nesta cruel vida se tivermos uma visao de futuro, tendo em conta que ha que viver o presente sempre da melhor maneira possivel, nunca olhar para traz, ficar com a mente preza com o passado, esse meus caros amigos nao vamos mudar! Vamos dar as maos e juntos venceremos essas barreiras que nos tanto gostamos de por a nos proprios. Tantas vezes nos vimos os outros a fracassar e nem por isso nos temos que recuar! Sera que a mente humana ja perdeu forca? Sera que ja samos tao fracos que nao conseguimos dar aquele grito dentro de nos que ate nos arrepia os pelos do ... sera que alguma vez vou ser capaz de ralhar comigo? dar uma bofetada na cara e mandar-me calar a mim proprio? Compoe-te rapaz! Ja nao es o que eras dantes! sosega e enfrenta o touro pelos cornos. Forte e aquele que toureia o touro sozinho, sabe que o cornudo do outro lado so tem uma coisa em mente... No entanto ele, esse ser que o enfrenta cara a cara, com uma massa corporal que comparada deixa os tais pelos arrepiados, nao se deixa entimidar e pega esse desafio pelos cornos.
Vamos la caramba! vamos percorrer esse caminho, que nos deixa o corpo durido, mas a mente, essa meus amigos, nos temos que enriquecer e fazela tao forte que ela sozinha conseguira enfrentar o touro!!!
Acorda, da os teus pinotes, cabecadas na parede, tropecoes nos proprios pes, cambalhotas e saltos de quem quer sair de dentro de si proprio e numa respiracao profunda como quem esta para explodir dizer. ENTAO EU NAO MANDO NADA AQUI?!
